Road to woodworking

Like most people, I have taken a few zigs and zags along the road to a profession. My current day job is graphic production and design for a custom trade show business. My experience includes magazine design, architectural printing, offset prepress, and residential framing. During the pandemic of 2020, I started to watch a good amount of YouTube videos that focused on small woodworking projects. With my varied past employment, I assembled skills and tools that helped me to explore making some of the projects I saw in the videos. This led to working on projects for neighbors and extended family members and any other things that popped up. I enjoy the problem-solving and creative part of woodworking. It is also nice to create objects that people will hold onto for hopefully a long time.
